Research Interests:

Mineral and bone disease in CKD, anemia in CKD, and dialysis access

Clinical and Other Interests:

Dr. Cohen practices general clinical nephrology with emphasis on acute and chronic kidney injury, hypertension, proteinuria or hematuria, and advanced kidney failure requiring various forms of dialysis management. Dr. Cohen also has an extensive knowledge of diabetic nephropathy. He has a particular interest in kidney conditions leading to imbalances of fluids, minerals, and electrolytes in the body.  He sees patients by appointment at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
