About the Division

The Division of Sleep Medicine provides clinical care for the full spectrum of sleep disorders in the outpatient practices and diagnostic sleep laboratories of the Penn Sleep Centers. Basic science, patient-oriented and translational research is conducted by division faculty as well as through the auspice of the Center for Sleep and Circadian Neurobiology.

CPAP Overview

Behavioral Sleep Medicine (BSM) is a rapidly growing area of research and clinical treatment that involves the integration of cognitive and behavioral principles into the treatment of sleep disorders such as insomnia and sleep apnea.  For more information, go to Penn Sleep's BSM program.




Penn's Division of Sleep Medicine collaborates closely with the Center for Sleep and Circadian Neurobiology to offer strong multidisciplinary clinical and research education programs for students, residents, fellows and staff.

Sleep Clinical Trials
