Peter Atherton is the Faculty Affairs Coordinator (FAC). The FAC is responsible for coordinating all processes involved in obtaining faculty appointments, reappointments and promotions as per University of Pennsylvania guidelines and requirements. In this capacity the FAC acts as liaison with the School of Medicine’s Office of Faculty Affairs and Professional Development (FAPD). The FAC is also responsible for coordinating faculty members’ obtaining and keeping current their hospital privileges and insurance provider enrollment within the UPHS system, working with the UPHS Office of Medical Affairs (OMA). |
