Chienhui Chiang is fascinated by the combination of the nursing spirit and the medical aspects of nurse practitioners. She is interested in how NP roles can improve the quality of care in clinical practices. Her clinical background includes cardiac nursing and critical care. Currently she is excited to explore the field of abdominal organ transplant.

 
Education/Training
Chienhui Chiang obtained her BSN from the National Taiwan University in Taiwan. Working as a staff nurse for 6 years, she's had clinical experience in internal medicine and CICU. In 2006, she graduated from the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program of the University of Pennsylvania and became a board certified CRNP. She's currently working as a nurse practitioner in the inpatient abdominal organ transplant division.

Research
Chienhui Chiang participated in Achieving Competence Today 2006, a national curriculum in health care systems and quality improvement. She collaborated with physicians and residents to identify the impact on quality of care while implementing “early goal-directed therapy” (EGDT) on sepsis patients in the ED of a major academic center. The team also investigated the root causes of compromised care related to EGDT and developed a feasible solutions and analyzed the risk and cost of the solutions.
