Gina McShea graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She started her professional nursing career at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and worked on a progressive care surgical unit, caring for patients with thoracic, spinal and complex gastrointestinal surgeries. She also led a support group for patients with esophageal cancer after esophagectomy. She continued to work as a nurse while attending the University of Pennsylvania’s Adult and Gerontology Nurse Practitioner Programs. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing and started her advanced practice nursing career with the Division of Endocrine and Oncology Surgery outpatient practice in the Rowan Breast Center. She supports surgical practices and provides care for patients with newly diagnosed breast cancer, women at high risk for breast cancer and those with benign breast disease. |
