Dana is an inpatient nurse practitioner with the Division of Vascular Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dana’s nursing background includes working in various critical care areas with a focus including but not limited to general and cardiothoracic surgery.
She graduated from Drexel University’s Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program with her Master’s Degree in 2011. She is board certified as an adult acute care nurse practitioner, and in both critical care and gerontological nursing.

Dana formerly maintained a monthly student “blog” related to the nurse practitioner student experience while continuing her education for Advance for NP’s and PA’s Online and also published an article on dabigatran (Pradaxa)for the December 2010 addition. She also co-presented a poster presentation at the 2012 ENA conference on her work in the role of clinical nurse educator with the implementation of a nurse-driven therapeutic hypothermia protocol.
