Nancy J. O’Connor graduated from the College of New Jersey in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked 10 years as an inpatient nurse at HUP while earning a Master of Science in Nursing (Oncology) at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a Post-master’s certificate as a Tertiary Care Adult Nurse Practitioner in 1995. She worked 5 years in the Neuro-oncology program at Penn with both a clinical and research focus. In 2001, she joined the Department of Surgery as a Nurse Practitioner in the Rowan Breast Center. Her practice includes the work up and management of a variety of breast problems, annual breast screening for women at high risk or who have a past history of breast cancer and supporting the surgical practices in the Rowan Breast Center. |
