Christyna has worked in cardiac surgery at the University of Pennsylvania since 2006. She first worked as a staff nurse on the cardiac surgery intermediate care unit and now with the mechanical assist device program as a VAD coordinator. Her areas of interest include, cardiac surgery requiring mechanical assist devices,end stage heart failure and heart transplantation.
