Heidi Nebelkopf Elgart has been caring for trauma patients since 1993. She worked in the trauma/surgical ICU for several years before returning to school in 1998 to become an acute care nurse practitioner. Since that time, Heidi has worked as the trauma/critical care nurse practitioner at St. Luke's Hospital, a level I trauma center located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She completed the ATCN provider course in October, 2002. Heidi is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), Sigma Theta Tau, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM).
