Colleen B. Gaughan, MD earned her medical degree and completed her general surgery residency at Temple University, finishing in 2005. She completed her first fellowship in Thoracic and Foregut Surgery at the University of Southern California in 2007. She went on to complete a second fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Miami in 2009.

She is board certified in both general and cardiothoracic surgery and has been in practice since 2009, specializing in the treatment of lung and esophageal cancer, tumors of the mediastinum, chest wall and trachea, including a wide variety of noncancerous conditions. Dr. Gaughan is an expert in the surgical treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease and esophageal motility disorders and innovative methods for staging gastrointestinal malignancies. She uses a wide breadth of techniques and years of training and expertise to find the right solution for her patients' health problems.
