David Cabiling is currently a Chief Resident in the Plastic Surgery Residency Program at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate studies in biophysics at Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania.  Prior to starting residency he completed a two year research fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia investigating mechanisms of pediatric craniofacial and clefting disorders.  His professional interests include general plastic surgery, complex soft tissue reconstruction and microsurgery.  He intends to pursue additional fellowship training in microsurgery following the completion of residency.
