Dr. Schoor is an intern, interested in biochemical markers for disease using bioluminescent proteins and quantum dots assays. He plans to become a surgeon either in the field of general surgery or orthopedics. He is currently searching for a lab to enter.

Dr. Schoor has worked on water quality management and bacterial indicators of beach water safety while in college. In medical School he worked with Dr. Sylvia Daunert and Dr. Sapna Deo using bioluminescent proteins and quantum dots as a mechanism to monitor protein activity and intracellular localization.
