Measey Surgical Education Fellowship Program

Curriculum

The focus of the simulation curriculum is upon the junior level residents to learn the skills required to become competent surgeons. This includes surgical knowledge, technical and team-working skills, and behavioral attitudes to perform under sub-optimal conditions.

The fellow will be responsible for the modular simulation-based training program which utilizes a clinical pathway approach to train residents to manage pre-, intra- and post-operative surgical scenarios. The fellow will be involved in administration of the program, and in conjunction with surgical faculty, to teach concepts and skills in all areas of surgical practice.
