The transplant fellowship at Penn is looking for talented, dedicated young surgeons aspiring to become academic transplant surgeons and future leaders in the field. The program is open to surgeons who hold the M.D. degree or equivalent and who are either certified or eligible to take the examination for certification by the American Board of Surgery. Applicants must be eligible for a medical license by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and either be a U.S. citizen or have appropriate visa status for an additional two years of residency training. Background and experience in basic science or clinical research is viewed as highly beneficial.
For the 2018 fellowship we will be interviewing TBD. This will include a full day of interviews with individuals involved in the Transplant Program, including transplant faculty, research staff, current fellows, residents, and nurses). The day will conclude with dinner with the transplant faculty.
