OR TEAM TRAINING
Clinical and Non-Clinical OR Emergencies

Surgery residents get to participate in a one-hour weekly team training session along with Anesthesia residents, OB GYN residents, ENT residents, OR nurses, circulators, and PeriOp staff involving patient care during clinical and non-clinical OR emergencies.

Some of the sessions in which the surgery residents have participated include:

• OR Fire/Power Outage
• Anaphylactic Reaction/Cardiac Arrest
• Exsanguination/Cardiac Arrest
