The mission of the Division of Urology is to pursue and achieve excellence in all areas of the care of the patient with urologic disease or injury; to educate the next generation of urologists with the most current medical knowledge regarding the understanding, detection, treatment and prevention of urologic disease, and to enable them to choose and use with proficiency the latest technical advances in the field;  and to expand urologic knowledge through a culture of research and discovery by fostering the development of new concepts and of future leaders in the field.
