Daniel N. Holena, MD

Dr. Holena is an associate professor of surgery and epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania.    His areas of research include the use of video review for quality improvement in trauma resuscitation and the application of the Failure to Rescue (FTR) metric to trauma populations.  He has served as the director of audiovisual review for the Trauma Center at Penn since 2011. His career training award focused on FTR cardiopulmonary complications is funded by NIH National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.
