We have worked to popularize the concepts of breast conserving therapy
and, to improve the understanding of genetic risk factors and screening
programs, and to broaden the utilization of sentinal lymph node
mapping. We are pioneering the use of vaccines and immune based
therapies for the treatment of breast cancer. Through active clinical
trials in these areas, we are working with you, our patients, to
improve outcomes of breast cancer patients throughout the world.
We are constantly working to better understand the molecular characteristics
of breast cancer to help develop new therapeutic options for treating
breast cancer tomorrow-while continuing to provide modern, compassionate
clinical care to our patient of today.
We work closely with the Rena Rowan Breast
Center to bring together nationally recognized breast experts from
all of the required disciplines to simplify your care. Our efforts
include designated breast imaging experts who use traditional and
innovative imaging techniques and immediate reconstruction performed
by our plastic surgery colleagues who are recognized leaders in
their field. Together, we can create a plan of care that is tailored
to your individual needs.

of treatment including support groups, counseling, nutrition classes,
