Amanda is a Surgical Critical Care Nurse Practitioner with the Division of Traumatology, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency Surgery at the Hosptial of the University of Pennsylvania. Amanda started her career at HUP in 1995 as staff nurse working with trauma and orthopedic patients. In 1997 she transferred to the Rhoads 5 Surgical Intensive Care Unit, where she worked, while attending graduate school. In 2007, Amanda transitioned to the role of Surgical Critical Care Nurse Practitioner. Amanda obtained her BSN and MSN degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, in 1995 and 2000 respectively. She is board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. |
