Mike completed the Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, achieving his MSN in 2007. He serves as mentor and participant in nursing case presentations. Additionally Mike is active as a preceptor for ACNP students and instructs ACNP students in skills lab sessions for the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Mike also lectures for the University of Pennsylvania Office of Life Support Education and he is a member of SCCM.
Prior to joining the critical care team, Mike worked as a nurse practitioner in the Department of Neurosurgery with the University of Pennsylvania Health system at the Pennsylvania Hospital campus. He also, as a critical care nurse, worked in the ICU at the University Medical Center at Princeton. He has been a paramedic since 1998.
Most famously he is known for his role as bass player in the rock band “Dressed like Stolen Cars”.
