Benefactors and Funding Sources
for the Flyers/76ers Surgery Theatre
Flyers/76ers Surgery
Theatre was generously sponsored in part by an educational grant
from Comcast Spectacor:

Comcast-Spectacor (www.comcast-spectacor.com)
is the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm which owns
the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Philadelphia
Phantoms, the Wachovia Center, the Wachovia Spectrum, Flyers Skate
Zone community ice skating and ice hockey facilities, Comcast SportsNet,
and three minor league affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles - the
Bowie Baysox, the Delmarva Shorebirds and the Frederick Keys. Comcast-Spectacor
is also the principal owner of Global Spectrum, the public assembly
facilities management firm with more than 35 facilities throughout
the United States and Canada, Ovations Food Services, a food and
beverage services provider, and Patron Solutions, a full-service
ticketing and marketing product for public assembly facilities.
US Surgical also made
a contribution to the construction of the Flyers/76ers Surgery Theatre:

United States Surgical (www.ussurg.com),
a unit of Tyco Healthcare Group LP, is a leading manufacturer
of innovative wound closure products and advanced surgical devices.
Their products are available through two primary business divisions:
the Auto Suture Division which offers a complete line of surgical
devices and laparoscopic instrumentation for general and specialty
procedures and the Syneture Division, one of the most comprehensive
suture product lines in the industry.
Through technology innovation, empowering
education, and customer focused solutions, each U.S. Surgical
division works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and administrators
to offer the best products and efficiencies possible for the benefit
of the healthcare community and its patients.
