Dr. Pochettino is an Associate Professor in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and is the Director of the Lung Transplant Program. He is an attending surgeon at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Presbyterian Medical Center, and Pennsylvania Hospital. He maintains an active surgical practice focusing on all aspects of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery including lung and heart transplantation as well as mechanical cardiac assistance. His special interests include off pump coronary artery bypass, aortic aneurysm surgery, and valvular disease.
