UPHS Appointments
Dr. Mullen has been a member of the Attending Staff of the Hospital
of the University of Pennsylvania since 1975 and the founder and Director
of the Clinical Nutrition Support Services since 1977. From
1992 to 1996 he was also the Director of Penn Home Infusion Therapy,
a wholly-owned entity of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
In 1996, Dr. Mullen was appointed Medical Director
of the HUP Operating Room and Director of the Peri-Operative Service
Excellence Re-Engineering Program.

Dr. Mullen's current Faculty Appointment is Professor of Surgery
at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania
Department of Surgery Appointments
Since 1978, Dr. Mullen has been the Vice-Chairman of the Division
of Surgery Education overseeing all Departmental Education Programs
for medical students, house staff and continuing medical education.
