Dr.
Bucky specializes in aesthetic surgery, breast reconstruction,
melanoma surgery, and facial reconstruction after cancer.
Louis P. Bucky, M.D., F.A.C.S. is an Assistant
Professor of Surgery within the Division of Plastic Surgery at the
University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Bucky received
his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He trained at the
Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA., the Memorial Sloane-Kettering
Cancer Center and Miami Children's Hospital.
Dr. Bucky is board certified in General Surgery
and Plastic Surgery. He is a member of several regional and national
societies, including the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the
American Society of Aesthetic Surgery, and the Northeastern Plastic
Surgery Society. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Bucky has multiple publications and presentation nationally
and internationally. His clinical work has been featured in Plastic
Surgery News, MAMM Magazine, Family Circle, Good Morning America,
and CNN. Recently, Dr. Bucky was named a "TOP DOC" in
Philadelphia Magazine and included in the prestigious "America's
Top Doctors" for 2001 and 2002.
Dr. Bucky practices at Pennsylvania Hospital,
the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and the Children's
Hospital of Philadelphia. He holds appointments at the University
of Pennsylvania Cancer Center, The Rena Rowan Breast Cancer Center
and the Pigmented Lesion Group.
