Dr. Fitzpatrick is currently in his fourth clinical year of general surgery training after completing a two year research fellowship in the lab of Y. Joseph Woo. He plans to pursue a career in cardiac surgery. His research interests focus on angiogenic and regenerative strategies in the treatment of heart failure.
