Rachel R. Kelz, M.D., MSCE
Dr. Kelz obtained her
Masters in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the
University of Pennsylvania in order to pursue Heath Services
Research.
| Current areas of research include: |
- The development of a multi-disciplinary
database to investigate surgically managed endocrine
disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal
glands;
- Investigations of patterns
of cancer care delivery using large clinical databases
both within and outside of the VA system.
- Identification of opportunities
to improve patient outcomes/safety and satisfaction
within both the University and VA Health Systems.
- Development of innovative
educational programs to facilitate medical student
education.
