Resident Call Roster
Welcome to the Division of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care here at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
The Trauma Center at Penn was established in 1987 as a Level I Trauma Center serving the population locally here in West Philadelphia and extending to the greater Philadelphia metro area through the addition of PENNStar Flight aeromedical service in 1988. Our network has now expanded

with the designation of the St. Luke’s Regional Resource Level I Trauma Center and the addition of two additional PENNStar helicopters, improving the UPHS Trauma Network to better serve our patients in the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley areas.

With round the clock support from in-house trauma surgeons and emergency medicine physicians, as well as the dedicated support from the members of the departments of anesthesia, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and rehabilitation, as well as our trauma nurses and support staff, the Trauma Center at Penn is able to offer our patients the highest level of care.

We hope that this website serves as a useful tool to the many resources of our Division including, the Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship, the Office of Life Support Education, and the Firearm and Injury Center at Penn.
