William Russell is the Pulmonary Testing Laboratory Manager of the Airways Biology Initiative and has worked as a clinical specialist in the pulmonary division of the University of Pennsylvania for nineteen years.  He has extensive pulmonary research experience including project management for NIH trials on emphysema, lung cancer and pulmonary fibrosis.
