Dr. Jing Liang is the Clinical Trials Laboratory Manager at the Airways Biology Initiative and an attending anesthetist from Shanghai, China, who also has a masters of science degree.  For the past seventeen years she has worked as a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Pennsylvania in the pulmonary research laboratories.  Dr. Liang has specialized technical skills in molecular biology (mRNA extraction; DNA extraction; Reverse Transcription PCR; Southern Blot, DNA cloning and sequencing); cell biology and immunology (Cloning, Cell cultures, Cellular Proliferation and differentiation, and ELISA); and histology (Paraffin embedding, Immunohistochemistry, H&E staining and In situ Hybridization).
