Program Overview

Simulation CenterThe Penn Department of Surgery has been instrumental in the development of simulation-based training opportunities for its residents, medical students and nursing staff. The Department facilitates training through the use of a state of the art, dedicated 22,000 square foot simulation center. This was first accredited by the American College of Surgeons as a Level 1 Simulation Center in June 2008, and by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare in 2010.

The Measey Surgical Education Fellowship designed to develop future leaders and train scholars in surgical education. Morgan Sellers is the current fellow. We are no longer taking applications for this fellowship cycle.
