Women’s Health Equity Symposium Abstract Submission
Abstracts are being accepted for ongoing and recently completed research projects at Penn related to women’s health and health equity for the Research in Women’s Health Equity Symposium being held on Tuesday April 7th, 2026 from 730a-1245p in Smilow Auditorium.
You are eligible to submit if:
- You are associated with the University of Pennsylvania (staff, faculty, trainees, community partners, etc)
- Your work directly relates to both women’s health and health equity
- The research is ongoing or was completed in 2025
Abstracts for projects presented previously or planned for presentations at upcoming conferences are also welcome. Abstracts are limited to 500 words. While content is at the submitter’s discretion, we suggest including Objective, Study Design, Results, and Conclusions sections. No figures or tables are included.
Abstracts will be reviewed and may be selected for oral or poster presentations. Oral presentations will occur between 930a-12p. The poster session will be a noon lunch hour outside Smilow. If selected for a poster presentation, presenters will be responsible for printing/bringing previously used posters.
Submission deadline: January 9, 2026
Announcements will be made by February 6, 2026.
