Simulation at Penn Medicine offers team-based scenario training designed to strengthen communication, clinical decision-making, teamwork, patient safety, and clinical outcomes.
Training scenarios are delivered using a variety of high-fidelity simulators in realistic clinical environments, including:
Simulation staff operate the simulators, audiovisual systems, and session recordings from a centrally located control room, creating immersive learning experiences that closely replicate real-world clinical situations.
Scenario Development
Faculty and instructors may develop their own training scenarios or collaborate with Simulation Center staff to create customized experiences that align with specific educational objectives.
